Many thanks to all the attendees at our February 4th, Paint the Town Red Dance!  We were very pleased to be able to provide a donation of $400 to  the Heart & Stroke Foundation, Halton Branch.

We had a great evening with over 100 attendees and great music, food and fun. Many thanks to Donna Bedell, Executive Director of Heart and Stroke Halton for greeting attendees and hand stamping everyone as they arrived!

We look forward to working with the Heart and Stroke Foundation, Halton Branch, in the future and continuing our goal of helping contribute funds that aid research and programming.

On behalf of all the attendees at the January 7th dance, Stephanie and Dorothy were pleased to provide a donation of $820 to Brenda Hadju Executive Director of Food For Life. This donation raised at the dance will provide the equivalent of 2460 meals to needy families and individuals across Halton– an amazing, rewarding outcome from one Saturday evening dance.

Food for Life is a local food based charity that sources and distributes fresh and nutritious food to those in need and is the largest food redistribution network in Halton. It provides food for more than 200,000 meals per month – the equivalent to 2.5 million meals annually. As a charity that serves other charities, it supports more than 80 food banks and community food programs.

Halton Dance Party Donates Funds to Support the Oakville Firefighters Toy Drive 

Oakville, Ontario   December 16 2016 

Halton Dance Party is pleased to contribute $1300 to the 24th annual Oakville Firefighters Toy Drive.

The Firefighters Toy Drive goal is to provide every local child with an opportunity to unwrap a gift at Christmas. Halton Dance Party is pleased to be one of the largest cash contributors to the toy drive in its long history.

Kurt Merman, Toy Drive Committee Chair says “ This is a very important initiative for the Oakville Professional Firefighters Association, and we are most appreciative of the support we receive from groups like Halton Dance Party to help us provide gifts to every local child in need. Thanks to Dorothy and Stephanie for a great job.”

The funds were raised at one of the monthly dances held by Halton Dance Party with over 200 attendees from across Halton coming together to support a great cause and to enjoy an evening of dancing and fun.

In October, funds were raised for Carpenter Hospice in Burlington and on January 7th a dance will be held supporting Food For Life, a non- profit organization that sources and distributes fresh, nutritious food to those in need throughout the Halton community.
